Ben and James

Six years ago, on a dark November evening in London two friends, James Adair and Benjamin Stenning, tired of the daily commute and getting ever closer to methodically knocking people's mobile phones out of their hands, agreed that it was high time to row an Ocean.

With a few ups and downs (including Benjamin Stenning completely disappearing off the radar for eight months) they now finally have their chance with entry to the Woodvale Indian Ocean Race in April 2011 from Australia to Mauritius.

James' chosen charity is the GBSSG. To see more or offer your support, go to:

LATEST Jan 2011. The competition for naming the boat has ended and the name selected was ‘Indian Runner’ which was sent in by John Lamb from Aberdeenshire.
