Latest

Dublin video   The presentation given by Dr Angela MacNamara at the Ashling Hotel, Dublin on 6 May was recorded on Video.
Psychology Study   Catherine Harrison is a Trainee Clinical Psychologist studying at the University of Leicester. As part of her training she is required to conduct a large scale piece of research. She is hoping to look at the effects that GBS has had upon sufferers and like to interview around 15 people about their experiences of having GBS.
Swine Flu Latest   The current outbreak of swine flu is of significance for two reasons: firstly as part of the ongoing debate about the suitability of vaccinations for those affected by GBS/CIDP and, secondly, because a mass vaccination programme in the USA in 1976 resulted in an increase in GBS cases.

We will post any additional notes from our Medical Advisory Board as we receive them. In common with all the information on this site, the notes are offered in good faith but any decision regarding the suitablity of any vaccince is a decision that must be taken by an individual and his/her medical advisors.
