The Annual National Conference & General Meeting for 2011 will take place at the Village Hotel, Leeds South on the weekend 14th May 2011. Full details will be in the next In the Know.
The access from the road, rail and air networks is very good. Parking is free and there were a large number of disabled car parking spaces.
The large entrance lobby lends itself to a meeting point for members arriving on the Friday. As the hotel is mainly going to be us and due to the layout of the lobby there is no requirement to book a separate room. Members that wish to sit and chat and catch up with others will be able to purchase drinks, both alcoholic and soft, hot or cold from the adjacent bar or coffee shop.
The meeting room area offers a range of options, the leisure facility is superb and fully accessible to even the most disabled by the use of hoists etc.
Bedrooms are exactly as described with 6 fully disabled ones and more with wet rooms than we would normally fill! All rooms would be easily negotiable for wheelchairs.

The date as published in the summer edition of In The Know is incorrect.
The Conference is open to anyone with an interest in GBS/CIDP.
The AGM typically takes 30-45 minutes and is attended by members of the Charity (those who have paid a subscription).
More information will be posted on this page when available.
