CIDP and Other Chronic Dysimmune Neuropathies

supportgbssg

CIDP is short for chronic inflammatory demyelinationg poly(radiculo)neuropathy. 'Radiculo' is sometimes omitted. It is the most common form of chronic dysimmune neuropathy. There are several variants of CIDP and other related illnesses come under the wider definition of chronic dysimmune neuropathies. We suggest that in the first instance you read the guide on CIDP first.

Printed Guides

Our printed guides are available by post from our office and will be sent free to addresses in the UK and Ireland. However, they are also available on line in PDF format and can be downloaded, viewed and printed using free Adobe Reader software. The files are A4 in size and are scaled for A4 paper. If you wish to print them on another size of paper (eg letter), select 'Fit to paper' before printing. The pages may print as an A5 booklet if your printer/software supports this feature though the text will be quite small.

HTML versions of these guides are also available for viewing though they have not been optimised for printing. If you wish to print the guides, we recommend the PDF format.

If you find these guides useful and would like to help us to continue providing information to others, there are several ways you can help us. You can:
