Catherine Harrison is a Trainee Clinical Psychologist studying at the University of Leicester. As part of her training she is required to conduct a large scale piece of research. She is hoping to look at the effects that GBS has had upon sufferers and like to interview around 15 people about their experiences of having GBS. She would also like to involve as many people as possible in filling out questionnaires in order to get a broad view of how GBS has affected individuals. She needs information from individuals who have had treatment for GBS on an Intensive Care Unit due to the degree of paralysis that they experienced as well as those who did not need such intensive medical treatment.

If you fulfil these criteria and you think that you would like to share your opinions and experiences with her details of the study can be downloaded from the GBS web site directly or you can contact Catherine Harrison at Leicester University for further details: 104 Regent Road, University of Leicester, Clinical Psychology, Leicester LE1 7LT.
